Building a pet shelter

There are a few things that you need to take care of when it comes to building a pet shelter. The first thing that you will need to do is het the size of the shelter determined. The size will depend on the pet. As the pet will use the shelter only for escaping from the elements, the shelter does not have to be very big. However, you have to make sure that floor of the shelter is long enough for letting the pet stretch. The height should be just enough to let him stand inside.

Note down the circumference that is made by the pet when he turns around. Take these measurements and add a few inches more to it to give enough room inside the shelter for movement. The doorway should be a few inches higher than the head of the pet. These are the things to consider when you are building a shelter for the pet.
